For a dose of retail therapy, Surfers Paradise has many unique shops plus there are many international shopping centres all within 20 minutes of Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise. Harbour Town offers discounted factory outlets to grab a fashion or homewares bargain, and Pacific Fair is only 1.5km from the hotel and the largest shopping mall on the Gold Coast showcasing international brands. Or visit a local shopping favourite, Robina Town Centre.
Our Concierge hot tip is to check out the surf outlets with Billabong, Quicksilver and Roxy up the road in Ashmore.
Blues on Broadbeach
This FREE annual festival is back again with a huge line up. International superstar Bonnie Tyler, Australian legend Ian Moss and US act Slim Jim Phantom Trio, will all perform at the Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival May 18 to 21, 2017.
This family friendly event offers something for the whole family! From live music, craft markets and carousels. Blues on Broadbeach is only 20 minutes walk from Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, or a simple one-stop tram ride South from Florida Gardens Station right outside our door.

Sanctuary Cove Boat Show
The 29th Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) will showcase and celebrate the industry’s latest boating and marine innovations on the Gold coast from May 25 to 28, 2017.
Attracting more than 40,000 visitors, Sanctuary Cove will transfer the marina and surrounding Marine Village into a bustling industry mecca, as the world’s leading marine brands stage exclusive produce reveals and demonstrations, featuring everything from superyachts, catamarans, motor yachts and sailing boats, to jet skis, fishing boats, RIBs, and the latest gear and gadgets.
A non-stop program of family friendly, entertainment and events including a Kids’ Zone, street performers, live music and delicious food. The Marine Village SCIBS will also present the popular International Business Lounge and Top Deck VIP Lounge.

This June, Surfers Paradise celebrates our passion for pyrotechnics with SeaFire, a night of hypnotic performance and thrilling fireworks above Surfers Paradise Beach.
Internationally acclaimed fireworks show designers will compete in Australia for the first time lighting up Surfers Paradise with cutting-edge fireworks timed to a thumping musical beat starting at 7pm.
