Often recommended by our Concierge team is the many shopping options. Surfers Paradise has many unique shops and there are many large shopping centres within 20 minutes of the hotel. Harbour Town has discounted factory outlets, Pacific Fair which is only 1.5km from the hotel and the newest and largest mall on the Gold Coast, Robina Town Centre. The Concierge hot tip here is to check out the surf outlets with Billabong, Quicksilver and Roxy which are just up the road at Ashmore.
For local dining and shopping within a 15 minute walking distance is Broadbeach, a walk through mall interspersed with cafes, bars and eateries and just across the road is the entertainment hub of Jupiter’s Casino.
The new G:Link tram is a cheap and convenient way to travel back and forth between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. A G:Link ticket is valid for a travel period up to 2 hours from the time of purchase. Guests can travel up and down Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach for as little as $4.80 to take advantage of the beach and shops or to grab a bite to eat at one of the many great restaurants.
Make sure you make the most of the year round sunny weather by indulging in one of the many aquatic activities such as jetboating, parasailing and scuba diving. Why not swim with the dolphins at Seaworld or go exploring at South Stradbroke Island. Also there is a vast array of surf schools operating on a daily basis that can you get you up and riding.
Surfers Paradise is one of the tourism capitals of the world so why not take full advantage of all the events from around the town. The upcoming events range from live concerts to markets and everything in between.
